I had so much fun with Addie and Ayla... it was an adventure, between snowplows and wind it was kind of a circus! More to come later, but I had to post some!

Cash has a new baby brother! Keenan made his arrival last month (I've been a little slow in posting) What a sweetheart. He was the baby behind the lighted wreath in the maternity Holiday Baby post!

I love how fresh the green reeds are against the dark wood.

precious life...

Life is always precious, but when you go through what little Grace has, it is anything but ordinary and truly a miracle. Joni's water broke at only 17 weeks and after 78 days of bed rest, Grace was born at 28 weeks and weighed in at 2.8 lbs. She stayed in the NICU for 91 days before she was strong enough to come home with mom and dad. I was honored that they trusted me just days after her release from the hospital, to document a miracle.


Anything but ordinary was her shoot as well. While she is, at 41 weeks gestation, developmentally a newborn, she has the determination and awareness of an older baby and made us work for every shot!

this was the coldest weather I have ever shot in! they were brave and we had fun. I'm looking forward to shooting their wedding when it's nice and warm!
